Description
“Petals of Dreams on a Starlit Horizon” is a companion piece to “We Grow Wherever Life Plants Us,” but both works can stand alone as well. The most obvious differences between the two are their palettes. The dominant hues in this canvas are warm summer colors like bright yellow, orange, and leafy greens which stand out against a dark twilight background of night-sky blues, magenta petals, and random flashes of tinted light.
Similar to “We Grow Wherever Life Plants Us,” the image seen here utilizes for its base an oval of light similar to a halo. The glowing oval can be interpreted the basic humanity which is common to us all regardless of regional, political, or various social classifications.
This also stands as an acknowledgment to planetary stewardship, to the struggling souls wandering the Earth in search of new homes, and to my own life’s journey up to this pivotal point. The combination of creative techniques include: Utilizing Silk-Featherbrush Artstyle, abstract expressionism, and spiritual surrealism, combines several styles to make what I hope is one meaningful mixed media statement.

London’s Institute for Economics and Peace estimates that approximately 1.2 billion people could be displaced by climate change over the next 30 years. So everybody’s work is cut out for them.

but really LaVonne I am an immigrant too , I have my Citizenship French & American but if I apply for a any jobs they will not take me , they will take someone with a low rate may be off the book , they do not want to pay a decent rate ! they adore Servants & Slaves ! IN NYC They give Shelters , Moneys, Food , High end Hotels to migrants from I dont know where , but Americans are Struggling to pay the rents , cannot find a Jobs or dont even have Food or money , many are Homeless in the City and around !
