Fine Art America artist Aberjhani, whose work is currently on exhibit at the Savannah/Hilton Head International Airport, recently launched a new online art series titled “Finding Shelter in a Circle of Gratitude.” Although the series is making its debut just in time for Thanksgiving and the winter holidays, the artist says it is about more than that.

“A lot of the motivation behind this series came from the fact that we’ve been battling the COVID-19 pandemic for almost two years now and finally found ways to slow its spread and decrease deaths from it. Catastrophic mass casualty events always reminding us of how important little things like showing each other common courtesy, or taking notice of a beautiful sunset or sunrise, can be. Titled “In the Masters’ Style,” the exhibition is a group show organized by the Savannah Art Association (SAA), currently celebrating its 101st year as the oldest continuously-operating art association in the state of Georgia. The show opened in early July and closes September 30, 2021.

The new “Narrative” themed group exhibit at the Savannah/Hilton Head International Airport Art Gallery, curated by the Savannah Art Association (SAA), features three new works by Fine Art America (FAA) artist Aberjhani. The new show opened at the beginning of October and will remain on display at the airport until January 7, 2022.

SAA, of which Aberjhani is also a member, recently made the news for another art exhibit on the ground floor of the Savannah airport. The second exhibit was coordinated in partnership with the One Hundred Miles coastal conservation group and artwork for it depicts scenes from the state of Georgia’s 100-mile coastline. According to Aberjhani, his images in the Narratives exhibition illustrates both themes because of what they communicate about the current climate crisis and its impact on human migrations.

A new art collection at Fine Art America, called “For the 500 Thousand and Those Who Loved Them,” has launched in commemoration of the 500,000 Americans and 2.5 million people worldwide who have died from the COVID-19 pandemic as of February 21, 2021.

Created by the artist Aberjhani, whose literary works are often quoted on social media, the new collection is called “For the 500 Thousand Fallen and Those Who Loved Them.” It currently contains the following 4 prints: 1) the title artwork; 2) Wreath of Grace and Honor; 3) Palace of Psalms and Gold; and 4) Made It Home Again. Just as the work of classic American author Flannery O’Connor has come under renewed scrutiny and criticisms, author-artist Aberjhani has posted on Fine Art America (FAA) several new prints reflecting on O’Connor’s legacy and his own forthcoming book on the acclaimed writer.


O’Connor has long been celebrated as well as criticized for highly-accomplished literary works which boldly examine such social concerns as religious faith, racial tensions, and cultural values. Tackling head-on the sensitive issue of children's lives lost to extreme violence, international artist Aberjhani kicked off the 2019 art season with the launch of the provocative new series, "Kaleidoscope Moons for Children Gone Too Soon."

The series successfully combines themes of social and environmental justice with aesthetics of highly-appealing formats and styles to confront one of the most disturbing concerns of modern times. Artist Aberjhani expanded his online art catalog with a multimedia portrait tribute to the iconic American jazz singer Nancy Wilson and a landscape canvas of a Christmas tree scene done in his original Silk-Featherbrush style. The portrait of the songstress is titled "These Colors I Hear When Nancy Wilson Sings Turned to Blue" and the Christmas landscape is called "Gathering Around the Tree of Our Shared Humanity Number 1."

Ms. Wilson is a multiple Grammy Award-winning performer whom the artist has always admired but whose music, he says, had a considerable influence on him in 2018. Describing that experience on the portrait's product page, he noted the following:
