Uncaged and Unafraid - Breaking the Gridlock of Hate Number 3 (Silk-Featherbrush Number 14)

This art series began with "Angels and Dangers - Breaking the Gridlock of Hate Number 1," and "The Continuum of Us - Breaking the Gridlock of Hate Number 2." With this third piece, I went against the usual aesthetic grain for the previous works in regard to both the choice of dominant colors and the canvas format. The switch was inspired by the old adage that a beautiful gilded cage is still something which prohibits freedom. Likewise, hatefulness can be justified in many ways but still end up causing at least as much harm to the hater as to a given society...
About Aberjhani
I was born and raised in the southeastern United States, then spent many years, while pursuing my education and serving in the U.S. Air Force, traveling around America and the world. Much of story is told in recent book releases like Greeting Flannery OConnor at the Back Door of My Mind and Dreams of the Immortal City Savannah. Artwork by me is featured on the cover of both books. My last 4 public exhibits were at the Savannah/Hilton Head Airport Art Gallery in Savannah, Georgia, USA, and during a cultural arts event in the historic Lafayette Square in the same city.
