As much as some might wish it otherwise, the Dutch artist Vincent Van Gogh (1853-1890) is probably as famous for cutting off his left ear one Sunday in December 1888 as he is for stylistic innovations and passionate devotion to artistic integrity. The incident reportedly occurred during a bout of “madness” following a dispute with his friend, French artist Paul Gauguin (1848-1903).
This is the 3rd of my tribute to Van Gogh Series. The others titled Another Starry Starry Vincent Van Gogh Social Distance Night Numbers 1 & 2. About Aberjhani
I was born and raised in the southeastern United States, then spent many years, while pursuing my education and serving in the U.S. Air Force, traveling around America and the world.
