Description
“Life was such an enemy,
no kind of friend,
night time caught me screamin’
time and time again.
Screaming for my heart,
screaming for my soul,
too torn apart
to make myself whole.
“Then came the healing time,
Oh my heart did shine,
soul felt so fine,
oh what a freeing time it was.”
--lyric from the novel Songs from the Black Skylark zPed Music Player
It has been said billions of times that once you hit rock bottom, the only place left to go is up. There are many examples of how this has turned out to be true in history and in individual lives. If the previous year dragged us down to a painful rocky bottom, and the more recent insurrection in Washington DC slammed some of us even harder, then maybe we’re all set for some miraculously awe-inspiring days ahead. That at least is the hope which this Silk-Featherbrush Artstyle painting is meant to convey. I was shaping it to go in a completely different direction, but it kept transforming into this Garden of Healing and Wonder filled with giant blossoms, winged forms, glowing lights, full green leaves, and rich tones of teal, blue, red, yellow, blue, black, white, and pink. I decided to go with the creative flow.

I love this, Aberjhani! It speaks to me deeply. The title, the description, all speak to me of how we do pick ourselves up and rise again. Beautiful artwork!! We rise above the trials and come up from the mud we were dropped into. A very good friend once said to me ''no mud, no lotus.'' Sometimes it seems as though we can go through one loss after another....we grow...we become stronger...we then pass on this strength and encourage the generations after us...that they can do just like we did.
Aberjhani replied:
Thank you very much Laurie. I'll have to make a note of your friend's observation: "No mud, no lotus." So very very true!

Thank you very much Tejsweena Krishan for your kind shared insights. I mostly let my instincts have their way with the creation of "The Garden of Healing and Wonder" and enjoyed going with the flow.

Such a very spectacular creation of being spiritual, and practicing that every time possible by wisely merging that anything comes between, to make learn things taking more positively! I love the growth in green for being evergreen and away from any kind of conflict! A gorgeous piece of art, Aberjhani!:)
