Description
The swirl of golden, pink, orange, yellow, violet, blue, and one or two red starbursts seen in this artwork was produced using a much tighter application of the Silk-Featherbrush Artstyle than used in most employing this technique. The tough part was maintaining a well-enough defined pattern to suggest the formation of a galaxy or universe.
Like most of the art I offer on Fine Art America, this image is one on which I worked for some months before determining exactly what it was or should be. Turned out it was the exact visual expression needed to correspond with a passage on the late reggae music superstar Bob Marley from the book Greeting Flannery O’Connor at the Back Door of My Mind.
