The swirl of golden, pink, orange, yellow, violet, blue, and one or two red starbursts seen in this artwork was produced using a much tighter application of the Silk-Featherbrush Artstyle than in most using this technique. The tough part was maintaining a well-enough defined pattern to suggest the formation of a galaxy or universe.

The above quote from Greeting Flannery O’Connor at the Back Door of My Mind is taken from a section in the book where I describe the experience of attending a Bob Marley concert in Oakland, California. I have always appreciated the fact that I actually got to see Bob Marley in concert but cherish the memory of where I saw it even more with the fires raging at this time in California.
