Psychologists and biologists generally agree that human beings are “hard-wired” for social interaction. That is a substantial part of why social distance policies implemented to combat the COVID-19 pandemic are so difficult for many to follow even though lives literally depend on it. A lot of our best entertainers around the world have been helping us meet the social distance challenge by streaming and broadcasting performances, news reports, and inspiring monologues and skits from their homes into our homes. The new reality has impacted just about every aspect of our lives. Including dating. “Social Distance Date Night” is both my way of acknowledging that new reality and attempting to inject a bit of light-heartedness into the overwhelming gravity of the global situation. About Aberjhani
After being born and raised in the southeastern United States, I spent many years, while pursuing my education and serving in the U.S. Air Force, traveling around America and the world. Much of that story is told in my recent book releases, Greeting Flannery OConnor at the Back Door of My Mind and Dreams of the Immortal City Savannah. Artwork by me is featured on the cover of both books.
