The expressionistic palette for Park Bench Blues Hero Number 1 blends flowing waves of blue, red, magenta, yellow, green, and black. In terms of natural elements, the image is true to the representation of blossoming shrubs, flora, and trees that fill the downtown squares of Savannah. I like to think of the concrete visual combined with attempts to capture the musician’s intense emotional performance as musical surrealism.
STYLE AND INSPIRATION: I’ve had the good fortune of knowing quite a few musicians, and listening to different musicians in various public spaces is something I enjoy. This mixed media abstract painting was inspired by talented performers I’ve seen in the downtown historic district of Savannah, Georgia. About Aberjhani
I was born and raised in the southeastern United States, then spent many years, while pursuing my education and serving in the U.S. Air Force, traveling around America and the world. Much of story is told in recent book releases like Greeting Flannery OConnor at the Back Door of My Mind and Dreams of the Immortal City Savannah.
