Description
Very grateful to share that my works posted here at Fine Art America have continued to empower and advance my literary endeavors. My goal with this artwork, “Owens-Thomas House in Savannah Georgia Number 2” was to create a piece which served as well as fine art as a popular-type poster. The quote is from my forthcoming book Dreams of the Immortal City Savannah (ISBN 978-9388125956, Cyberwit.net Publishing) and reads as follows:
"Light is an illustrated language used to communicate hard-won observations about what matters the most and the least when it comes to the ever-changing human condition."
To put them in a more comprehensive context, these words are from a chapter in which I discuss what I consider a kinship between the visual works of Claude Monet, Luther E. Vann, and Kahlil Gibran. Each, as I saw it, constructed very intense relationships between light and shadow which had a lot of important in-between gray areas as well.
My hope is that I have also shined a bit of light on some of the in-between areas of art, cultural, and history in Dreams of the Immortal City Savannah with my text and black and white artwork at the beginning of each chapter. This first edition of the book is expected to be limited from 500-1,000 copies but interested collectors can pre-order it now at:

Thank you very much Carol. I actually tried to force this piece toward a different direction but it insisted on returning to this result. So here we are.
