Artist's Description
Kiss of the Eclipse - Breaking the Gridlock of Hate Number 4 (Silk-Featherbrush Number 20)
In addition to this latest title, the Breaking the Gridlock of Hate Series includes: "Angels and Dangers - Breaking the Gridlock of Hate Number 1"; "The Continuum of Us - Breaking the Gridlock of Hate Number 2", and, "Uncaged and Unafraid - Breaking the Gridlock of Hate Number 3."
First off, the recent "Blood Wolf Moon Eclipse" did influence this image to some degree but only slightly. One of the metaphysical legends surrounding total lunar eclipses is that the period when the moon goes completely dark is the time to mentally release oneself from negative habits, thoughts, conditions, etc. In other words, for some they are almost like a second New Year's eve. For the purpose of this series, it's about waking to the realization that hate-mongering is not a win-win but a lose-lose situation.

This is especially beautiful, Aberjhani, it stands on its own, without the description...just so great art. And, to address your concept about hate....your thoughts about hate, and real life, are sad but true, but for some small consolation, I do really believe that the lovers of life and respect for others outnumber the haters. What is sad is, the haters do not hear, care, listen, learn, as history has proven. All the more reason, then, for your Art, your wish for mankind's survival and survival of not just the most fit, but all who condemn hatred........you are in inspiration!!....fv......VIVA
