Josephine Baker and Chiquita the Cheetah Number 2 metal print by Aberjhani. Bring your artwork to life with the stylish lines and added depth of a metal print. Your image gets printed directly onto a sheet of 1/16" thick aluminum. The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. Artist's Description
“Josephine Baker and Chiquita the Cheetah” is the second digital painting in the JOSEPHINE BAKER’S LOVE AFFAIR WITH FREEDOM Series. This work expands on a detail from Baker’s original 1920s black and white publicity. The edition seen here is shaded with vibrant tones of yellow and gold which evoke the kind of high energy audiences experiences when viewing Baker’s live dance and comedic stage routines. Chiquita the cheetah wore a diamond-studded collar and was one of a number of exotic” pets, including a goat and pig, which Baker kept.

About Aberjhani
I was born and raised in the southeastern United States, then spent many years, while pursuing my education and serving in the U.S. Air Force, traveling around America and the world.
