Artist's Description
Instead of just cutting out a section of “The Day History Rewrote Itself,” my original artwork which inspired this piece, I thought it would be interesting to duplicate and then work on the sections separately. That way they could stand as independent works related to the original but unique enough to either hang on walls beside it like a triptych or serve as alternative works expressing the same theme. The image seen here is the first of 2 such alternatives. The second is titled “Detail Perspective 1 from The Day History Rewrote Itself.” The primary canvas with a complete description of the art concept and style, explaining its relationship to outbreak science and the coronavirus pandemic, can be viewed at this Fine Art America link: https://fineartamerica.com/featured/the-day-history-rewrote-itself-aberjhani.html

About Aberjhani
I was born and raised in the southeastern United States, then spent many years, while pursuing my education and serving in the U.S. Air Force, traveling around America and the world. My last 4 public exhibits were at the Savannah/Hilton Head Airport Art Gallery in Savannah, Georgia, USA, and during a cultural arts event in the historic Lafayette Square in the same city. I am currently completing an artbook project on different challenge which humanity has been facing in the 2020s, with text contributions from writers around the world. My...

Thank you so much Angeles. I challenged myself to go in a different direction with this and I'm glad it worked out the way it did.

This is such a great series. Wonderful work!
Aberjhani replied:
Greatly appreciate that Carol. The series evolved over a period of several years & matured just as the pandemic hit so took a whole new meaning & purpose.

Aberjhani, though of course, this is so beautiful, but also, thank you for your inspired thoughts about C.Virus, mankind....you always raise our awareness, so beautifully.......love the Original, and these outgrowths/smalls....about the enemy we cannot see......!.....fv.......VIVA
Aberjhani replied:
Thank you very much VIVA. Being on "lockdown" in the US has made it kind of hard for me not to address the coronavirus pandemic in my art and writings.
