Description
Negative events tend to dominate news headlines because they are more dramatic and snag more of the so-called “attention market” but a lot of good things have enriched people’s lives in recent times. “Bearing Witness to Remarkable Times” is about the good things. In this image, the parallel lines of pink, yellow, gold, green, and blue represent the mostly unified front of the medical and science communities combining strengths to defeat the coronavirus pandemic. They all move and converge toward an energetic center symbolizing healing and renewal.
This is some of the better news from The Year 2020 as we move into the New Year 2021: tribute celebrations of the legacies of actor Chadwick Boseman and U.S. Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg. It is true we lost them (and other influential heroic figures) in 2020 but also true they left the world a lot better than they found it. Celebrities throughout the international community rose to the COVID-19 occasion to provide much-needed inspiration during the pandemic. Scientists have pushed ahead with the development of “microneedles” to be used for pain-free medical injections and tests (I’m a big fan of pain-free med treatments) just as vaccines for COVID-19 are becoming available. Poet Louise Gluck won the Nobel Prize in Literature, America elected its first woman and African-American vice president, and much more.
MEETING CHALLENGES: The huge challenge involving surviving the challenge of the COVID-19 pandemic has been the need to express care through social distancing. That sounds like a contradiction but much of The Year 2020 has felt like a living contradiction and made people eager to welcome The New Year 2021. The good news is that it’s almost here.

Wow, what a very Holy creation to meditate on again! As I actually see the sense of enlightenment of festival Deepawali (Hindu culture) where it is about lit the Dias (Indian lamps made up-of clay in which a cotton's wick dipped in mustard oil or in ghee to lit)! I am in deep love with this very beautiful (beyond) intensely magnificent creation! I really pray, and wish for you my friend that you always lit up the Dias dipped in love that brings prosperity to you always! :)

Thank you Danny. Although it's a bit early I do hope your New Year is everything you want it to be and then some.

We all have great expectations for the new year, a renewal of hope, and definitely out with the old!

With you on all your Tributes, those mentioned and to a few of my own, too, now, when perhaps the worst is over, and those who survive remember those lost, but, then, go on into 2021 , looking forward ! Nicely written, beautifully conveyed, Aberjhani.......Kudos, so thoughtful, as always, VIVA ...fav
