Artwork by Aberjhani along with books by him will be available for purchase as part of his participation in Local Author Day on March 24, 2024, in Lafayette Square in the city of Savannah, Georgia (USA). Much of the artwork on display for the event will reflect themes explored in his books on Savannah.
It may have been a long time coming but the declaration of Juneteenth as a Federal Holiday in the United States matters in many different ways. In addition to acknowledging the official end of legalized slavery in the United States just over a century and a half ago, it is also a reminder that, globally, human trafficking still exists and must come to an end.
